The tension arises as Queen Elizabeth's children navigate a challenging period marked by internal family crises. Prince Andrew, who has reportedly limited his public appearances to avoid further conflict with King Charles, is said to have been encouraged by his siblings to remain at Royal Lodge despite the King's wishes.
King Charles, who is reportedly no longer willing to cover the cost of Andrew's security, has suggested that the Duke of York move to the less expensive Frogmore Cottage. However, Princess Anne and Prince Edward are believed to be working to prevent Andrew from being displaced.
