Steps Back from Potential Peacemaker Role in Royal Rift
Princess Beatrice has made a significant decision regarding her role in the royal family following her 36th birthday. According to GB News, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is unlikely to act as a mediator between the estranged brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry.
Grant Harrold, a former royal butler, noted that Princess Beatrice is one of the few family members who could "initiate peace in the family." He added, "She’s close to both William and Harry, as well as the King—and they trust her. It would be her out of anyone else—but she wouldn’t want to be too involved. She would try to be careful."
Describing Beatrice as "approachable and trustworthy," Harrold suggested she would have communicated with the royal siblings at "some point" to help heal their rift. However, he believes she will refrain from becoming embroiled in the ongoing drama between the Waleses and the Sussexes, as she maintains good relations with both parties.
Princess Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie, have been acknowledged as vital to the royal family, especially given recent health concerns. There is speculation that the sisters could assume significant roles if they choose to become active members of the Firm.
