Stepson's Absence from Royal Retreat Highlights Blended Family Challenges
Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are preparing for their summer holiday at Balmoral. However, they will be without a key family member, as Beatrice’s stepson, eight-year-old Christopher 'Wolfie' Mapelli Mozzi, is expected to miss the Scottish getaway.
Wolfie is currently vacationing in the United States with his mother, Dara Huang, and her family. A source told Express.co.uk, “Dara has taken Wolfie with her to the United States for an extended summer holiday. They will visit her family in Florida and make their way to the lakes in Wisconsin before returning to the UK later this month.”
The insider mentioned that Beatrice and Edoardo would have “loved” for Christopher to join them on holiday but understand that he needs time with his mother. “They are trying to see if he might be able to join them very late this month, but it looks as if he will spend his entire summer in America, which is disappointing,” the source added.
The source concluded, “That's what happens with blended families, but they seem to navigate it very well. They all get on like a house on fire, with a bit of push and pull over dates sometimes.”
