Kate Middleton, last seen at the 2024 Wimbledon men's singles final, has decided to follow her doctors' advice regarding her appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Amidst speculation about her potential visit, the Princess of Wales has chosen to prioritise her health.
Royal commentator Phil Dampier, as reported by the Express, revealed that while Kate is eager to visit Paris with Prince William and their children, her current health condition might prevent her from doing so. Dampier stated, "I’m sure Kate would love to go to Paris with William to watch some events, but whether she does or not would depend on the advice of her doctors."
Dampier added, "It was great to see her at Trooping the Colour and presenting the trophy to Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon, but she will be pacing herself and not doing too much too soon because of her cancer diagnosis." He emphasised that Kate "is still undergoing treatment and is in recovery, so she needs to be careful."
The decision to forgo the Paris trip is influenced by concerns over large public gatherings, particularly sporting events, being "a breeding ground for viruses." Dampier also noted the prevalence of Covid-19, saying, "...there is a lot of Covid around at the moment, so she would not want to get that."
Additionally, it has been reported that Princess Kate is looking forward to a relaxing summer break with her family after a challenging start to 2024.
