Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Face Major Setback as Chief of Staff Quits Before Colombia Trip
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have encountered a significant setback as their chief of staff, Josh Kettler, resigned just before their planned trip to Colombia, a country known for its security risks.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have been warned about the dangers in the South American nation, may face challenges in executing their safety plans due to Kettler's departure, which occurred just three months into his role.
Royal expert Angela Levin speculated on TalkTV that Meghan may have "annoyed" Kettler, leading to his decision to quit. Levin revealed, "He was specifically asked to accompany them to Colombia because of his expertise in security, as the country is considered 'very dangerous.'"
Levin criticized Harry and Meghan, saying, "[This resignation] shows that if you think you know everything better than anyone else or refuse to take advice, these things happen... Josh didn’t even wait; he just left."
Addressing Meghan's alleged difficult temperament, Levin added, "There are allegations that Meghan was not very nice to the staff within the royal family... She has a terrible temper."
The royal author suggested that Meghan's strong-willed nature might have driven Kettler to leave, noting, "She [might] have frustrated him because he came to manage and control things for them, but Meghan is very determined to do things her own way, so up goes another one."
