Royal Expert Criticises Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a 'Publicity Act' Amidst Feud with William and Kate

Duke and Duchess of Sussex Under Fire as Tensions with Royal Family Intensify

In a dramatic development, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been labelled as "an act" by a royal expert following their recent actions amidst the royal family's ongoing health crisis. This characterisation comes as tensions between Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, along with Princess Kate, continue to worsen.

Royal expert Simon Heffer bestowed these new titles upon the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during an interview with CBS. Heffer remarked, "I mean, he and his wife clearly live off publicity. They are a brand. They are an act. And like all brands and all acts, they need the oxygen of publicity."

The relationship between Harry and Prince William, as well as with Princess Kate, has reportedly deteriorated since Harry and Meghan decided to step down from their roles as senior working royals and relocate to the United States in 2020. In a conversation with GB News, Heffer explored the reasons behind this estrangement, suggesting that Harry's strained relations with his brother and sister-in-law have not served him well, especially considering Princess Kate's revered status within the Royal Family.

Heffer further criticised Harry for his behaviour during the royal family's health crisis, noting, "His brother had a very difficult time, his wife has been ill, and his father has been ill. The Prince of Wales has held the line pretty well."

The expert asserted that the public is well aware of Harry's lack of support, arguing that this attitude will continually pose challenges for the rest of the royal family. Heffer also condemned the Sussexes for frequently adopting a victim narrative, stating, "I understand he's got to earn a living, but nobody forced him into this. He didn't have to leave the Royal Family. It was quite clear that his father, in particular, wanted him to stay. It was quite clear that there was a serious job for him to do."
