William and Kate Receive Disheartening News from Montecito

Harry and Meghan's New Ventures Add Strain to Royal Responsibilities

Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly facing challenges due to health issues within the royal family and the establishment of a 'rival court' by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Montecito. As reported by The Sun, royal commentator Phil Dampier has highlighted the impact of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's departure from the royal family, stating that "the slimmed-down monarchy by default is looking very slim" during the health struggles of King Charles and Princess Kate.

Dampier explained, "The royal family members are thin on the ground, and obviously, were they still working royals, Harry and Meghan could have taken up a lot of the slack. So it is frustrating." He also revealed that the late Queen Elizabeth had significant plans for Harry and Meghan, believing they would effectively represent her and the Royal Family in the Commonwealth.

The commentator further emphasised the potential contributions Harry and Meghan could have made if they had remained part of the royal family. However, their decision to set up a 'rival court' in California is viewed as a 'tragic' loss for the Waleses. "Now that they have set up as this kind of rival court, they will obviously hope that things they do don't overlap what William's doing," Dampier added.

Since stepping down from their senior royal roles in 2020, Harry and Meghan have focused on their own initiatives, adding to the challenges faced by the remaining royal family members.
