William's Friends' Jibes Test Kate Middleton's Patience

Princess Kate Gracefully Handles Hurtful Comments from Prince William's Friends

Kate Middleton, known for her vibrant personality and friendly nature, remained composed in the face of hurtful comments from Prince William's friends. During her university days, these friends often tested Kate's patience with humorous yet annoying remarks and gestures.

Now the Princess of Wales, Kate is known for her down-to-earth demeanor with her inner circle, including the Prince and her family, who affectionately call her Catherine. However, before she joined the royal family, William's 'snooty' friends gave her an unflattering nickname, mocking her mother, Carole Middleton, a former British Airways flight attendant.

Reports reveal that some of William's friends referred to Kate as "Doors to Manual," as disclosed by royal expert Katie Nicholl on the Vanity Fair Dynasty podcast. Despite the hurtful nickname, Nicholl commended Kate for her dignified response, saying, "To her full credit, Kate never rose to it – the snootiness of the upper classes levelled at what they called the en-masse Middletons."

An aide told the Sunday Times Magazine that although the nickname wasn't easy to dismiss, Kate possesses extraordinary strength of character. "I've never once seen or heard of her losing her temper," the aide noted.

Since marrying Prince William in 2011, Kate has become an integral part of the royal family. As the mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, she is on her way to becoming Queen consort. At a recent Chelsea Flower Show, when a schoolgirl asked about royal life, Kate gave an honest five-word answer: "You have to work hard."
