Zara Tindall is preparing to celebrate a significant personal achievement after reportedly declining King Charles’ invitation to Balmoral. The daughter of Princess Anne celebrated 13 years of marriage with Mike Tindall on July 30. The couple, who wed at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh in 2011 following Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, are parents to three children: Mia, 10, Lena, six, and Lucas, three.
This news follows recent reports from Express.co.uk, which revealed that Zara seemingly turned down the monarch’s invitation for a summer retreat at Balmoral. King Charles had hoped to bring the royal family together at the estate to "relax and unwind" following a challenging start to 2024 marked by royal health issues.
A source shared, "Charles really wanted Zara and the family to join him on the last Sunday in August for the bank holiday service but understands that her horse competitions are extremely important to her." An insider indicated that Zara and Mike declined the invitation due to her scheduled participation in the Wellington International Horse Trials during the same period.
