Earl Spencer looks to honour late Princess Diana’s wish for peace between her sons
Despite the ongoing rift between Prince Harry and Prince William, Princess Diana’s family is working behind the scenes to bring the brothers closer. Diana’s younger brother, Earl Charles Spencer, is determined to fulfil a promise he made to his late sister—to always care for her sons.
Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner revealed that Earl Spencer has been quietly attempting to mend the relationship between the brothers, following Harry’s recent stay at Althorp estate for the funeral of their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes. Though Harry and William did not communicate during the event, their uncle remains hopeful.
Turner noted that Althorp, Diana’s childhood home, could serve as a "secure temporary location" for Harry and his family should they return to the UK, as Earl Spencer continues his efforts to build bridges between the estranged siblings.
