Sarah Ferguson Dismisses Speculation of Tension Between Andrew and the King
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has dispelled rumours of discord between her former husband, Prince Andrew, and King Charles. In a recent interview, she praised the King and Catherine as 'inspiring' figures within the Royal Family.
Speaking to PEOPLE during the launch of the Youth Impact Council at New York Climate Week, Ferguson highlighted the monarch and the Princess of Wales's openness about their health experiences. "They are setting an example for families facing their own health challenges," she remarked.
Ferguson, affectionately known as Fergie, commended the King for his role as patron of Cancer Research UK and his visit to the Macmillan Cancer Centre in London. She also praised Catherine's supportive message, noting, “I love that the Princess says, 'I’m always there for you.' It was a beautiful message in a powerful video.”
The Duchess added, "The King’s willingness to speak openly is crucial in providing hope and encouragement to others."
