Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who left their royal roles and moved to the US in 2020 to achieve financial independence, have reportedly decided to pursue separate professional paths following challenges in their joint ventures. A source claims that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will continue to engage in some charitable activities and foreign visits together, but will now primarily focus on individual projects.
The couple, who recently toured Nigeria and Colombia together, have shifted their approach, with Harry now undertaking solo engagements in New York. This decision comes after a series of setbacks, including the end of their Spotify partnership and public criticism over their remarks about the royal family.
Despite signing a lucrative deal with Netflix as a couple, the pair have not produced a joint project since their debut series Harry & Meghan in 2020. Harry's solo release, Heart of Invictus in 2023, did not match the success of their earlier collaboration. As they embark on separate paths, both are expected to continue working on individual projects for the streaming platform.
