However, she emphasized that her journey is ongoing, noting, "Although I have finished chemotherapy, my focus is now on staying cancer-free, and I must continue to take each day as it comes."

Royal commentator Richard Palmer addressed the confusion on social media, clarifying that while Kate is focusing on staying cancer-free, it is "incorrect" to describe her as fully "cancer-free" or in remission.
