King Charles Introduces Wardrobe Changes Ahead of Australia Tour

Monarch Embraces Comfort for Hot Island Climate

King Charles and Queen Camilla are preparing for their upcoming tour to Australia and Samoa this October. In a significant move, King Charles has opted for a change in his wardrobe to better suit the climate of the island nations.

As the couple prepares for their visit, it has been revealed that the Prime Minister of Samoa, Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa, has requested that attendees at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), taking place from 18th to 26th October 2024, dress for comfort due to the country's warm weather. During discussions with the King, the Prime Minister expressed her concerns about the heat and encouraged a more relaxed, island-inspired dress code.

This will mark King Charles’s first international tour since his health challenges earlier this year.
