Tom Parker Bowles, the stepson of King Charles, has offered a heartening update about the monarch’s ongoing cancer battle, easing concerns among royal fans. Speaking to British Vogue while promoting his new cookbook, Cooking and the Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III, Parker Bowles addressed the challenge his family faces.
“Cancer, it really is a bastard,” he remarked, but expressed confidence in the King’s resilience. “The King’s receiving the best treatment. He’s a great man and a tough man, and you’ve just got to get on with it,” he shared, acknowledging the natural worry that comes with a loved one facing such a diagnosis.
In February 2024, Buckingham Palace revealed that King Charles had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer, which left royal watchers concerned. Despite undergoing treatment, the King has remained dedicated to his royal duties and is preparing for a trip to Australia and Samoa in October.
