Meghan Markle Criticised for Alleged Regret Over Past Actions

Royal Expert Claims Meghan's Regret Comes Too Late Following Royal Exit and Controversies

Meghan Markle, now residing in the U.S. with Prince Harry and their two children, is reportedly expressing deep regret over her past actions, particularly regarding her exit from the royal family in 2020. According to sources, the Duchess of Sussex is said to be remorseful over the "royal racist controversy" and how certain comments from her Oprah interview in 2021 were received.

A source speaking to Grazia Magazine claimed Meghan’s intention during the interview was to focus on mental health, but she believes her remarks were misinterpreted. Additionally, her 2022 interview with The Cut reportedly caused further backlash, which she now regrets.

Royal biographer Angela Levin, however, dismissed Meghan's remorse as being "much too late." In a conversation with GB News host Nana Akua, Levin questioned the sincerity of Meghan's regret and criticised the timing, especially in light of the hurt caused to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Levin further suggested that the Sussexes' public statements had caused significant pain, particularly regarding unfounded accusations of racism against the monarchy.

Levin also touched on Meghan's latest setback, revealing that a trademark application for one of her projects had been rejected, adding to the mounting difficulties facing the Duchess.
