Royal Correspondent Defends Duchess Against Negative Claims
Meghan Markle has found support in the UK after recent claims portraying her as ‘Duchess Difficult.’ The Duchess of Sussex, who faced backlash from a former staffer’s allegations of being challenging to work with, received a boost as insiders and media figures defended her character.
The Hollywood Reporter previously published claims that Meghan “marches around like a dictator in high heels,” based on an ex-employee’s account. However, an insider from the Duchess’ Invictus Foundation dismissed these accusations as “fabricated.”
GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker also came to Meghan’s defense, suggesting that there are “two sides to every story.” Speaking to a British media outlet, Walker stated, “Clearly, those close to Meghan are going to support her and defend her reputation. It’s evident that The Hollywood Reporter has its own agenda against Harry and Meghan.”
Since stepping down from royal duties in 2020, Meghan has faced various allegations about her behaviour, but the recent support from figures like Walker signals a pushback against these narratives.
