Duke of Sussex Vows Never to Bring Meghan Back to the UK Due to Security Fears
Oprah Winfrey has touched down in the UK, appearing unfazed by Harry’s expressed concerns for Meghan’s safety. In a candid July interview, the Duke of Sussex declared that he would “never” bring Meghan back to Britain, citing ongoing fears for her security.
Since stepping away from royal duties in 2020, Meghan has only returned once, for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022. Harry is currently pursuing legal action to regain his automatic police protection, a necessary step to ensure the safety of his family during future visits.
While Harry remains cautious, Oprah has been enjoying her time in London. The 70-year-old media mogul was spotted on Bond Street, looking radiant and at ease as she explored the city. Accompanied by her close friend Gayle King, both were among the distinguished guests at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding in 2018, reflecting their continued close bond with the couple.
