Prince Andrew Resists Royal Lodge Eviction for Personal Reasons, Experts Suggest

Duke of York’s Refusal to Leave Linked to Concerns Over Public Perception, Not Daughters

Prince Andrew is refusing to vacate his 30-room Royal Lodge residence, despite King Charles' repeated warnings. Initially believed to be holding onto the property for his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, royal experts now suggest a more personal motivation behind his reluctance.

Stripped of his royal titles and patronages following his association with Jeffrey Epstein and the settlement of a lawsuit involving Virginia Giuffre, Andrew faces eviction from the Windsor home. Royal expert Hugo Vickers claims that Andrew’s refusal to leave is driven by a desire to avoid appearing guilty in the public eye.

“If he moves out of Royal Lodge, it’s like publicly accepting guilt for which he hasn’t been proven,” Vickers told The Sun. Despite his concerns, maintaining the lifestyle at Royal Lodge is becoming increasingly costly.

With King Charles cutting off Andrew’s private security funding, his eviction appears imminent. Experts suggest that Andrew could avoid further public embarrassment by voluntarily downsizing to a more modest residence, rather than clinging to the lavish property and risking additional scrutiny.
