Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Struggling to Hold Onto Montecito Mansion Amid Financial Setbacks

Sussexes Face Financial Pressure After Hollywood Missteps

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly facing challenges in retaining their Montecito mansion after making significant financial miscalculations, according to a PR expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who left their royal duties in 2020 to establish a new life in California, initially secured lucrative offers. However, their income has been destabilized following recent setbacks in Hollywood.

PR specialist Mark Borkowski suggests that the couple’s decision to purchase their $12-million mansion, coupled with the end of their Spotify deal and a struggling Netflix partnership, has put them in a precarious financial situation.

“In Hollywood, it's all about making money, and they need to make a lot because they're cut off from their original sources,” Borkowski told The Sun. “If there’s no positive momentum or successful projects, their brand will unravel.”

Harry and Meghan have faced criticism for frequently airing grievances about their time in the royal family. This narrative, combined with the failure of several business ventures, has negatively impacted their reputation and income potential.

The couple is now working hard to maintain their Netflix contract to ensure cash flow, as losing it could jeopardize their ability to keep their Montecito residence.

“Their ventures haven’t delivered as expected,” Borkowski added. “Without successful projects and a positive image, they risk losing not just their influence but possibly their home.”
