Meghan Markle absent from Duke’s latest charitable mission in Africa.
Prince Harry is set to embark on a new journey just days before his return to the UK. According to The Sun, the Duke of Sussex will travel solo to Lesotho and South Africa in early October after attending the 2024 WellChild Awards on September 30.
This follows Harry’s recent solo appearance in New York City, with Meghan Markle notably absent from both that trip and his upcoming plans. The Duke's visit to Lesotho will focus on promoting his charitable foundation, Sentebale, which he established in 2006 to support disadvantaged children as a tribute to his late mother, Princess Diana.
Prince Seeiso of Lesotho welcomed the news, sharing, “It fills me, the team, and our wider community with joy to welcome Prince Harry, or Mohale, as we affectionately call him in Sesotho.” He emphasized the importance of international efforts to support the youth of Lesotho, noting that local and global partnerships are essential for empowering young people.
As Harry continues to increase his official engagements following his 40th birthday, his dedication to youth empowerment remains at the forefront of his charitable work.
