As Prince Harry approaches his 40th birthday, he faces mounting criticism for the effects his choices have had on his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Duke of Sussex, who departed from the royal family in 2020 to start a new life in California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, has been accused of depriving his kids of the royal family's love and connection.
Since their departure, the children have not had the opportunity to meet key members of the British royal family, including their grandfather, King Charles, and their cousins, the children of Prince William and Catherine.
Royal expert Lydia Alty, speaking on GB News, asserted that Prince Harry's actions have strained the relationship between his children and the royal family. "They may never get to know their cousins or their paternal grandfather, uncle, and aunt. This can have a serious impact on a child, especially if their parents continue to distance themselves from the royals," Alty explained.
As for his upcoming milestone birthday, it is expected that Prince Harry will celebrate with his immediate family in California. However, Alty noted that the absence of extended family members from the celebration could deprive Archie and Lilibet of valuable memories, further deepening the divide caused by the ongoing rift.
