'Obsessive' Prince Harry Accused of Adding to His Ailing Father's Worries
Prince Harry has faced renewed backlash for allegedly causing distress to his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, with a surprising decision involving his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Duke of Sussex is accused of using his children as leverage in his strained relationship with the monarch.
Royal expert Tom Quinn has labeled Harry's actions "obsessive," suggesting that the Duke is intent on punishing his father for past grievances. Quinn claims that Harry is now using Archie and Lilibet as "bargaining chips" in his ongoing conflict with King Charles.
Quinn explained, "His [Harry’s] desire to punish his father for not apologizing for the past has become obsessive, and it is ironic that he is now using his children in this battle, much like King Charles and Diana did with William and Harry during their own disputes."
According to the Mirror, despite Harry's public criticisms, King Charles has refrained from retaliating publicly but is reportedly furious in private. Sources indicate that the King is so upset that he has refused to take calls from Harry.
"Charles believes Harry should let bygones be bygones for the sake of Archie and Lilibet," Quinn continued, "but he feels that access to the children is being used as a bargaining chip, which, in Charles' view, is unforgivable."
