Prince Harry Near Buckingham Palace Amid Possible Reunion with King Charles

Duke of Sussex to Stay Close to Family Residence During UK Visit for WellChild Awards

Prince Harry is set to stay near Buckingham Palace during his upcoming visit to London for the WellChild Awards on September 30, sparking speculation about a potential reunion with King Charles.

While Harry has chosen not to stay at a royal residence, sources suggest that the proximity to his family's primary residence leaves the door open for a meeting with his father. “The King is expected to be in London at the end of September after marking the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament,” a well-placed source shared.

Discussions are ongoing about whether King Charles will travel to London for a medical appointment—and possibly a meeting with Harry—or head directly to Highgrove. The timing and location of the potential meeting are still being negotiated.

The last time father and son met was in February when Harry visited briefly following news of the King’s cancer diagnosis. During Harry’s return in May, a planned meeting did not materialise due to scheduling conflicts, although the King had extended an invitation for Harry to stay at a royal residence.

Sources close to the Sussexes have reiterated Harry's hope to reconcile with his father, making this visit a crucial opportunity for the pair to reconnect after months of limited communication.
