Duke of Sussex focuses on children’s future as he marks 40th birthday
Prince Harry has taken a significant step to ensure a secure future for his children, Archie and Lilibet, as tensions with the royal family continue. The Duke of Sussex, who celebrated his 40th birthday on September 15, inherited between £7 million and £8 million from his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother.
The inheritance comes from a trust fund established by the Queen Mother, who left the majority of her £70 million estate for her grandchildren. Harry’s share is approximately 10 per cent of this fortune, and he plans to save the money for his children’s future, according to sources.
An insider told Woman’s Day that Harry is focused on ensuring Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, benefit from the inheritance, aiming to provide for their future.
In a statement released on his birthday, Harry reflected on the joy of fatherhood, saying, "Becoming a father of two incredibly kind and funny kids has given me a fresh perspective on life." He added, "Being a dad is one of life's greatest joys and has only made me more driven to make the world a better place."
