As the Duke of Sussex approaches his 40th birthday, a former royal protection officer, Ken Wharfe, recalled an incident from Harry’s youth that caused panic among the palace team.

However, Harry took matters into his own hands by bolting from Kensington Palace to Kensington High Street without informing anyone. The palace only realised what had happened when Harry radioed in with the triumphant message, "Mission accomplished."
