Josh Kettler, who recently stepped down as Prince Harry’s chief of staff after just three months, has spoken out amid renewed scrutiny over the Sussexes' treatment of their employees. His resignation marked the departure of the 18th senior-level employee from the couple’s team, reigniting previous bullying allegations against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In an extensive report by The Hollywood Reporter, Meghan was described as a “dictator in high heels” who allegedly “belittled” staff members and left “grown men in tears.” Kettler’s sudden exit only fueled the media frenzy around these claims, particularly as the couple was gearing up for their Colombia tour, which required meticulous security planning.
Breaking his silence for the first time since leaving the role, Kettler told Us Weekly that his experience working with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the Archewell team was positive. “They are dedicated and hardworking,” he shared. “It was impressive to witness.”
However, Kettler did not provide a specific reason for his departure. At the time, sources told People Magazine that Kettler was brought on “on a trial basis” and that the decision to part ways was mutual, with both sides agreeing that it “wasn’t the right fit.”
