Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Demand Apology Before Considering Renewed Ties
Kate Middleton and Prince William have reportedly chosen to distance themselves from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, driven by concerns over potential breaches of trust. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be wary of being betrayed again after Harry previously divulged private royal details.
Despite Prince Harry's ongoing attempts to reconcile with the royal family, he has not yet managed to restore their trust. According to sources, William and Kate believe that Harry will continue to share details of their private meetings.
A royal insider revealed to the Mail that Kate and William have ruled out any possibility of a reunion until Harry and Meghan offer an apology. "There will be no reunion until Harry and Meghan apologise to their Royal Highnesses for everything they have said. And there is no sign that is likely," the source said.
A friend of William added that reconciling seems improbable, given the couple's concerns that any conversation could be exposed in future media. "It's hard to see a reconciliation when William and Catherine fear that anything they say might end up in a book or TV programme," the friend noted.
In addition, it is reported that Prince Harry is also seeking an apology from William before he will consider rejoining the Royal Family.
