He urged for immediate steps to protect at least 30% of the world's land, waters, and oceans by 2030, calling for a halt to the unsustainable exploitation of natural resources and a shift towards more sustainable practices.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry, speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York, stressed the "pervasive threat" of the digital world on young minds, stating, "Our kids can’t wait." He urged global leaders to take action to create a safer online environment for children.
The two brothers' appearances in New York highlighted their ongoing commitment to addressing global challenges despite their strained relationship. Prince William's speech coincided with the third annual Earthshot Innovation Summit, where he announced the finalists for the prestigious Earthshot Prize.
