Future King seeks the next generation of changemakers for Earthshot Prize competition
Prince William has announced a new mission to find young changemakers through his Earthshot Prize competition. In a recent video message, the Prince of Wales shared his collaboration with Blue Peter and the BBC-backed show to identify innovative young minds tackling environmental issues.
“I started the Earthshot Prize to find solutions to the world’s biggest environmental challenges,” William said. “We’re looking for the next generation of young inventors who can drive meaningful change.”
Children aged 5-15 are encouraged to submit their original ideas in five areas: fixing our climate, protecting and restoring nature, cleaning our air, reviving our oceans, and building a waste-free world.
This announcement follows William's recent return to royal duties, including a visit to the Saatchi Gallery in London for his Homewards project.
