Prince of Wales Steps Out Following Princess’s Cancer Recovery
Prince William has appeared in public for the first time following the uplifting news that his wife, Princess Catherine, has completed her chemotherapy. The Prince of Wales visited Llanelli, Wales, just a day after featuring in Catherine’s heartwarming health update video alongside their children.
On Tuesday, Catherine is scheduled to visit the Swiss Valley Community Primary School, where she will meet with Ruby Davies and other students who took part in the 2024 Urdd Eisteddfod, an event dedicated to promoting Welsh culture and language.
In widely circulated photos, William appeared relaxed and joyful, relieved after Catherine's recovery from her serious health battle.
During his visit, William will also greet locals on a walkabout, visit the Wales Air Ambulance headquarters to commemorate Air Ambulance Week, and offer his support to the Welsh women’s rugby team ahead of the 2025 Women’s World Cup.
In Catherine’s emotional video, she expressed her deep gratitude for William’s unwavering support during her treatment, acknowledging the immense challenges of the past nine months but celebrating how they navigated the difficult times together.
