Harry faces harsh criticism from William’s camp amid rumours of royal return.
As rumours circulate about Prince Harry’s potential return to the royal fold, the Duke of Sussex has received a stern reminder from Prince William’s camp. Despite reuniting under one roof for their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes' funeral last week, the brothers remain distant.
While Prince William has refrained from commenting publicly, a close friend of the Prince of Wales delivered a sharp message regarding Harry’s hopes of resuming royal duties. Speaking to The Daily Beast, William’s pal remarked, “Harry is a broken record at this stage.”
Sources had previously indicated that Harry was open to taking on some royal responsibilities if King Charles asked and William issued an apology. However, the friend pointed out that Queen Elizabeth had made it clear that Harry could not be “half in and half out” of the royal family. "Nothing has changed," the source emphasized, dismissing the idea of Harry's part-time return as unrealistic.
The insider added, "Anyone promoting these theories on Harry’s behalf is either very thick or pretending not to understand that he is not wanted."
Despite his repeated efforts to reconnect with his family, Harry remains out of touch, with King Charles reportedly avoiding his calls and William making no contact during their recent family gathering.
