Prince William has made a significant decision to prevent a potential clash with his younger brother, Prince Harry, as their ongoing feud continues. The Prince of Wales has chosen to avoid an awkward encounter with the Duke of Sussex by opting out of attending the upcoming Earthshot Prize summit in New York.
It has been revealed that while Prince Harry is scheduled to visit New York next month for a series of appearances, Prince William will not be in the city at the same time. Royal correspondent Rebecca English confirmed that William never planned to attend the Earthshot Prize summit, despite earlier speculation.
Writing on social media platform X, English clarified, "Regarding speculation about whether Prince William and Prince Harry will be in New York at the same time next month, the Prince of Wales isn't attending the @EarthshotPrize event and had never planned to."
This decision comes as Prince William continues to navigate his royal duties while managing the strained relationship with his brother. While William attended the Earthshot summit in 2023, his appearance in 2022 was canceled due to the period of royal mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
