Duchess of Cambridge Aims to Return for Remembrance Sunday
Prince William is showing signs of optimism as Kate Middleton continues to make progress in her recovery from cancer treatment. Insiders reveal that William’s mood has lifted as Kate undergoes preventative chemotherapy, following major abdominal surgery earlier this year.
Though Kate has remained largely out of the public eye, her appearances at Trooping the Colour in June and Wimbledon in July were warmly received. Reports now suggest she hopes to rejoin the Royal Family for the Remembrance Sunday service in November and host her annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey in December.
According to The Sunday Times, those close to the couple have noted several positive updates about Kate's recovery, with William recently appearing more at ease and increasing his royal engagements. Initially, William had taken time off to care for Kate and their children, but with her improving condition, his outlook has brightened.
While no official date has been set for Kate’s full return to public life, she continues to be involved in her royal duties from behind the scenes, including her role as joint president of the Scout Association. Recently, Kate expressed her enthusiasm for working with the UK’s new chief scout, Dwayne Fields.
