Prince William has reportedly embarrassed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a new display of power. Celebrity chef José Andrés, a close ally of the Sussexes during the pandemic, has been appointed to the judging panel of the Earthshot Prize, an initiative spearheaded by the Prince of Wales.
Andrés, who holds a special place in the hearts of Harry and Meghan, was promoted by the couple during their charitable efforts. However, his decision to join William’s Earthshot Prize has been seen as a significant blow to the Duke and Duchess. The chef, founder of World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit supported by the Sussexes' Archewell Foundation, expressed his excitement for joining Earthshot, saying, "Food has the power to heal and transform communities, and I’m thrilled to be part of Earthshot’s mission to inspire change."
Andrés had previously praised Harry and Meghan for their hands-on compassion, but his alignment with Prince William is being seen as a clear shift in royal alliances.
