Duchess of Cambridge Delighted by Prince William's Support for Women's Rights
Prince William recently took a heartfelt step to support a special cause close to Catherine’s heart, as she celebrated a significant health milestone. On September 10, the Prince of Wales visited Llanelli, Wales, soon after Catherine’s positive health update, much to the delight of fans.
During his visit, William honoured Welsh female rugby players, with a mission to ensure that every former player receives their well-earned recognition. His efforts align with Catherine’s advocacy for women’s rights, and his initiative likely pleased her deeply.
The message shared on the Wales family’s official Instagram page read: “The @WelshRugbyUnion’s ‘Missing Caps’ campaign is working to find and celebrate the amazing female players who have represented Wales but never received their deserved cap."
“It was an honour to meet and recognise some of those former players as part of the campaign, and to look ahead to next year’s World Cup."
Since 2021, the campaign has awarded caps to 50 former players, with the search continuing for more. William’s efforts reflect his dedication to ensuring every player’s rightful place in history.
