In his memoir Spare, Harry described the heartbreaking moment he learned of his grandmother’s passing through a message from Meghan and a glance at the BBC website, confirming his worst fears.

In a poignant exchange, Anne asked him, “Do you want to see Granny?” Harry immediately responded, “Yes, I do,” capturing the deep sorrow and loss felt by the entire family.
