Youngest Member of York Family Receives Italian Honor Through Father Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi
Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna, has a noble title awaiting her from her father’s side, despite not holding a royal title from the British monarchy.
Beatrice, who is not an active working royal, shares three-year-old Sienna with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, an Italian count and property developer. While Sienna is not eligible for a royal title due to being a great-grandchild rather than a direct grandchild of King Charles, she inherits a special honour from her paternal heritage.
Edoardo’s father, Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, previously explained that his son is “the only male descendant carrying the family lineage forward. He is a count, his wife will be a countess, and their children will be counts or nobile donna,” highlighting Sienna’s unique status as a "nobile donna" within Italian nobility.
Princess Beatrice, who is ninth in line to the throne, is known as Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice. Sienna follows her mother as the 10th in line, reflecting her position within the British royal family.
Meanwhile, Beatrice’s father, Prince Andrew, lost his royal titles and patronages after his controversial 2019 Newsnight interview, where he addressed his association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of sexual misconduct.
