Princess Kate and Prince William set to skip meeting with Prince Harry during London visit
Princess Kate and Prince William will not be meeting Prince Harry during his upcoming visit to the UK, even if King Charles expresses a desire to see him.
The couple is reportedly not on speaking terms with the Duke of Sussex, despite having publicly wished him a happy birthday earlier this month.
In contrast, it appears that King Charles is still on speaking terms with his youngest son, leading royal fans to speculate about a potential reunion when Harry arrives in the UK on Monday.
Should a meeting occur, Harry, who has been living in California since 2020, would need to make the journey to Balmoral, where the King, is currently resting before his upcoming trip to Australia with Queen Camilla next month.
The recent trip to Scotland taken by William and Kate was not just a leisurely visit; it was a heartfelt journey to spend time with King Charles.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond highlighted the significance of their visit, noting, "Their trip underlines how important they feel it is to connect with Charles."
With it having been a few weeks since they last saw him, William is particularly eager to stay in close touch with his father, especially as the King continues his cancer treatment.
Bond added that the bond between Catherine and Charles has been notably strengthened by their shared experience with cancer.
"It’s not so much Scotland’s enchanting allure that drew them this time, but rather their desire to spend quality moments with the King," she explained.
