Fergie Honors Late Monarch on Second Death Anniversary with Special Doll Outfit
Sarah Ferguson, ex-wife of Prince Andrew, found a unique way to honour Queen Elizabeth II on the second anniversary of her passing. Fergie, who now cares for the Queen’s beloved corgis, marked the occasion by commissioning a custom outfit for a character from her children’s book, Little Red, created by the Queen’s personal hatmaker, Stella McLaren.
In an Instagram Story shared on September 8th, Fergie explained her gesture, saying, "For the anniversary of Her Late Majesty The Queen’s passing, I asked Stella McLaren, Her Majesty's hatmaker, to create a special outfit for Little Red to wear. I believe it’s important to keep memories alive in different ways."
The outfit included ladybirds, a favourite symbol of the late Queen. Fergie also encouraged donations to the charities connected to Queen Elizabeth. Her heartfelt tribute was followed by a social media post from King Charles and Queen Camilla.
