Buckingham Palace Issues Life Update on Princess Anne Following Engagement

New photos reveal Princess Royal's visit with Gurkha personnel at Imjin Barracks

Buckingham Palace has released a new statement about Princess Anne’s recent royal engagement, following the joyful news of Princess Beatrice expecting her second child. On October 1, the Palace shared that the Princess Royal visited Imjin Barracks in Gloucestershire, where she met with Gurkha personnel and their families.

Along with a series of delightful photos from the engagement, the Palace’s statement read, "This week The Princess Royal met Gurkha personnel and their families during a visit to Imjin Barracks in Gloucestershire." The statement further highlighted Anne's role in marking the "redesignation" of 170 Headquarters Squadron as it became part of the Brigade of Gurkhas.

The update comes shortly after the announcement that Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their second child, adding to the joyous news shared by the royal family this week.
