Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson reveals sensitive health details in upcoming memoir
In his forthcoming memoir Unleashed, former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson makes startling claims about the late Queen Elizabeth’s health, revealing that she had been battling a form of bone cancer before her passing. Johnson shared insights from his final meeting with the Queen at Balmoral Castle in September 2022, stating that he had known "for a year or more" about her condition, which he says had her doctors concerned about a sudden decline.
Johnson also quoted the Queen’s private secretary, Sir Edward Young, who reportedly said, "She's gone down quite a bit over the summer."
Despite these revelations, Buckingham Palace has opted to remain silent on the matter, with People magazine reporting that the Palace "declined to comment" on the ongoing controversy.
In addition to the health claims, Johnson’s memoir also includes allegations that the royal family requested his assistance in persuading Harry and Meghan Markle to stay as senior members of the Firm before their 2020 exit. Johnson described the effort as "totally hopeless." However, The Telegraph reported that a Palace insider denied any such request was made to Johnson.
