As King Charles and Harry work through unresolved tensions in their complicated father-son relationship, Harry has been focusing on his charity work and taking on solo engagements. His efforts appear to be part of a bid to reconnect with the royal family, but his relationship with Prince William remains strained, with the two reportedly not speaking.
Sykes suggests that Harry’s ambitions to establish himself as a global activist may face hurdles without a "peace deal" within his family. While there may still be room for reconciliation with King Charles, Sykes believes it will be far more challenging for Harry to reach an agreement with the future King William V.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is reportedly unaffected by these developments, with Sykes claiming that she "seems quite happy being implacably at war with the British royal family" and won’t be impacted by any changes in William’s reign.
