Earlier reports indicated that after the royal family did not invite the Sussexes to spend Christmas at Balmoral, Princess Diana’s family extended an invitation for them to join the celebrations at the Spencers' Althorp estate. However, Meghan remains firm in her refusal to travel to the UK and is equally committed to keeping their children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, away as well.
