While Meghan Markle Stays in California, Duke of Sussex Embraces Solo Trip with Happiness
The Duke of Sussex was described as "happy and content" during his recent visit to South Africa, sparking curiosity about the cause of his upbeat mood. According to body language expert and former royal butler Grant Harrold, this positivity may stem from a touching reason.
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Harrold observed that the Duke often allows Meghan Markle to take the lead during their public appearances, possibly as an act of gentlemanly behaviour. He explained, "Harry has always been confident, even when I knew him as a teenager, but he likely feels particularly happy on this trip knowing Meghan is safe at home."
During the Duke's travels to South Africa, as well as his recent visits to New York and London, Meghan remained in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet. The Duke has openly shared concerns about his wife’s safety, which has made it unlikely for her to return to the UK anytime soon.
Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, the couple lost their royal police protection, a matter that has weighed heavily on the Duke’s mind. In a prior interview, he expressed apprehension about the dangers his family might face in the UK, often choosing to leave his children at home during his international trips.
