Harry Attends UK Event Solo, Praising the Courage of Ill Children and Caregivers
The Duke of Sussex, attending the WellChild Awards in London without Meghan Markle, was in good spirits as he honoured the resilience of seriously ill children and their families. In his role as patron, a position he has held for over 15 years, Harry celebrated the courage of the young recipients and the dedication of their caregivers.
Looking relaxed, the Duke attended one of the few UK events he now participates in, sending a message to fans that there is no tension at home. Ahead of the event, Harry stated, "I am once again honoured to attend this year’s WellChild Awards, celebrating the remarkable courage and achievements of children living with complex medical needs." He added that the young people and those who support them "inspire us all" and that it is a privilege to recognise such extraordinary individuals.
