Amid Beatrice’s joyful news, Eugenie highlights her dedication to combating modern slavery
In her first public appearance since her sister Princess Beatrice announced her second pregnancy, Princess Eugenie shared a heartfelt message during her recent visit to the Salvation Army headquarters.
The younger daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York expressed her gratitude for being invited back to the Salvation Army HQ, sharing photos on social media of her time there. Eugenie highlighted her commitment to supporting survivors of modern slavery, stating, "Listening to survivors and hearing their stories makes this work seem as urgent and important as ever. It also reminds me why Jules and I started The Anti-Slavery Collective."
She was joined by John Schultz of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a board member of her initiative. Eugenie praised Schultz’s empathy and efforts in uniting voices from various sectors to combat modern slavery.
Her appearance comes shortly after Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared their exciting news of expecting a second child, due in early spring. The royal couple is already parents to daughter Sienna, while Edoardo has a son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship.
While Beatrice’s pregnancy has delighted the royal family, Eugenie’s powerful statement underlines her unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes.
