Harry and Meghan Left Out of Royal Family’s Christmas Celebrations as Festive Plans Take Shape

Sandringham’s grand ballroom to host a large royal gathering without the Sussexes

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be part of this year’s Royal Family Christmas celebrations, as Buckingham Palace finalizes plans for an extravagant festive dinner at Sandringham. Invitations have been sent out, and the couple’s absence from the guest list has been noted amid reports of a large gathering set to take place in the ballroom of Sandringham House.

Following the success of last year’s ballroom event, the Palace has opted to use the spacious venue once again to accommodate the growing number of guests. The royal family will enjoy a buffet-style roast dinner, complete with traditional trimmings, in a warm display of holiday camaraderie.

Although the Sussexes are missing from the guest list, Queen Camilla has ensured that it will still be a big family affair, inviting her children and grandchildren to join the festivities. Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, and daughter, Laura Lopes, along with their children, are all expected to attend.

Prince William and Princess Kate, while staying at nearby Anmer Hall, will also take part in the family celebration. Additionally, Princess Beatrice will be attending with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, proudly showing off her baby bump and celebrating with their daughter, Sienna, and stepson, Wolfie.

This year’s Sandringham Christmas gathering is shaping up to be a lively and memorable occasion—minus Harry and Meghan, who will be spending the holidays away from the royal fold.
