Harry and Meghan Slip Below Prince Andrew on Royal Website in Surprising Ranking Shift

Duke and Duchess of Sussex Reduced to Shared Tab, Now Listed Lower Than Duke of York

In a recent shake-up on the official royal website, Harry and Meghan Markle are now positioned below Prince Andrew, marking a surprising turn in the hierarchy. The "Role of the Royal Family" page prominently places King Charles, Queen Camilla, Catherine, and Prince William at the top.

Key figures like the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester enjoy dedicated tabs, but Harry and Meghan now share a single tab titled "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex," making them the only royals grouped together in this way.

Their biography reads, "As announced in January 2020, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back as working members of The Royal Family." By contrast, Prince Andrew, who stepped back in 2019 following a controversial Newsnight interview, maintains a prominent individual listing simply titled, "Find out more about the Duke of York."

Despite his own retreat from duties, Andrew’s section remains alongside Princess Alexandra, while Harry and Meghan, once positioned above him, have now slipped to the lowest tier of the royal roster on the official site.
