Harry’s growing success appears to have dimmed Meghan Markle’s aspirations as their separate professional paths unfold.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, having chosen to focus on individual projects to allow more time for their children, are now facing different levels of public response. While Harry is receiving favourable publicity, Meghan is reportedly struggling to recapture the attention she once commanded.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward, in a discussion with The Sun, commented on Meghan’s recent appearance at an LA Children's Hospital Gala, suggesting her presence seemed more about being seen than genuine engagement. Seward added that Meghan "wants to remind people she’s still around," yet Harry is currently enjoying the bulk of positive media coverage.
Seward also observed that the couple’s decision to go separate ways professionally may be an effort to see if this approach works better than their previous collaborations. Harry’s solo appearances, which began in New York City and continued with events in London and South Africa, have been met with significant public praise.
